 Background 
J57, as the carrier of SkyCity, which achieve global focus when it was done, and we need to design its interior space now. There are 17 courtyards between each 3 floors, now we are trying to collect creative ideas about how to make the 17 interior boxes better. 
 
 Objective 
Accelerate human access to sustainable living model and create future’s human habitat.

 Eligibility 
Everyone is invited to bring its ideas to participate from any country worldwide. Each team is composed by 5 persons at most, and to design an interior courtyard for future city based on the requirement of competition. After rewarding, participants should follow the rules to come to Changsha Broad Town and start constructing.

  Regulations 
1.It’s a non-anonymous competition, the register code which you received is the only one identification.
2.It’s an online competition, only digital materials and attachments would be accepted.
3.Participants may submit various projects, but must register each entry.
4.The official language of the competition is English & Chinese (All the materials for register should be English). Official time should be EST.
5.Contacting the Jury is encouraged. We will give life sessions where you are invited to ask any questions regarding the competition or the future co-living with us.

7.There is a limit to the number of maximum 5 participants per team. Individual entries are also accepted.
8.The result would be announced on SkyCity official media, also prize-winner would receive Email. Prize-winner should contact with SkyCity within 7 days after received Email to discuss about construction.
9.Prize-winner and their awards would be cancelled if they could not participate construction in Changsha, SkyCity would reelect prize-winner from participants.
10.The SkyCity organizer will bear the transportation expense to Changsha.
11.SkyCity provide accommodation and foods in K7, an apartment in Broad Town, during the constructing period.
12.Participants can freely arrange their time if they finished constructing before deadline, SkyCity encourage mutual help.
13.SkyCity, as the competition organizer, reserves the right to modify the competition schedule if deemed necessary.
14.Entrants will be disqualified if any of the competition rules are not considered.
15.Participation assumes acceptance of the regulations.
 
 Submission Requirement 
This is a digital competition and no hardcopies are necessary. Entrants must submit their proposal no later than Sep 1st, 2017 (23:59 hours US Eastern Time) via email to info@skycity.net.
The project submission must contain the following files:
1. Plans, sections, and several perspectives in high res JPEG in case we would like to print them. Participants are encouraged to submit all the information they consider necessary to explain their proposal in a video that we will share on our website and social media. The video shouldn’t exceed 10 minutes or be shorter than 30 seconds. The upper right corner of each JPEG must contain the participation number. There should not be any marks or any other form of identification. The files must be named after the registration number followed by the file number. For example: 0101-1.jpg and 0101-2.jpg.
2. A DOC file containing the project statement (500 words max). This file must be named after the registration number followed by the word “statement”. For example: 0101-statement.doc.
3. A DOC file containing the entrants’ personal information, including name, photo and profession, address, and email. This file must be named after the registration number followed by the word “info”. For example: 0101-info.doc.
4. All the files must be placed in a ZIP folder named after your registration number. For example: 0101.zip.
 
 Awards 
1.1st – 17th place – CNY ¥1,000,000 (near US $150,000)。
2.Participants must be able to build their proposal with the help of local construction teams & cover the construction materials (Local prices in China), the cost should be counted from awards. Necessary workforce or expertise will be provided by the Broad corp.
3.Winners and special mentions will be published in a book by SKYCITY and several international print publications. In addition, the results are covered by the most important online architecture and design publications and general media.
